Anabel von Jackowski

Anabel focuses on the interaction between organic matter and microorganisms. Her research has focused on the seasonal dynamics and, as of recently, the acidification of the Arctic Ocean at Stockholm University.  Anabel is also a BioGeoScapes Fellow.

Additionally, Anabel is part of the coordination unit of the national node ECOP-Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) , co-organizes the ECOP BlueCaD Project, co-hosts the Wellenbrecher podcast, and co-chairs the GRS Marine Microbes in 2026.
