Anabel von Jackowski

Anabel focuses on the interaction between organic matter and microorganisms. Her research has focused on the seasonal dynamics in Fram Strait and Kara Sea during her PhD, seasonal dynamics in the Mediterranean Sea  at the Laboratoire d'Océanographie Microbienne (LOMIC) de l'Observatoire Océanologique de Banyuls-sur-Mer (OOB) during her first post-doc phase, and acidification of the Arctic Ocean at Stockholm University since September 2024.
Additionally, Anabel is a member of the national node ECOP-Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) coordination unit and co-organizes the ECOP BlueCaD Project. As of recently, Anabel is also a BioGeoScapes Fellow.
